The process of selecting your next garage door can seem somewhat daunting at first. There are several questions you likely have and may not be certain where to start. Below we created a guide that hopefully will help streamline the selection process.

Here are 5 questions to consider to help determine which door fits your needs best:
1. Which garage door do you currently have?

One you identify which garage door you already have you can move on to set 2. If you’re having trouble identifying this, using something like Google Image search can help or shoot us a text and we can help you out.
2. What’s your budget?
Step 2a
New garage doors vary drastically in cost. Doors can run anywhere from a couple hundred to a couple thousand dollars, thus it’s important to identify your budget to help narrow down your search.
Step 2b
If you have access to information of what you paid for your current door initially, that would be helpful to get started in identifying your budget whether you’re looking to upgrade or stay in the same price.
Step 2c
Windows, special material, custom color, etc. all will affect the price. When moving to item #3, it’s essential to keep these things in mind as changing a lot of these can impact the pricing.
3. Which door fits your budget?

Next is to find a door that fits into your budget. We recommend starting your search by browsing Google. We recommend searching different materials, colors, price points, etc. (you can also see below, some of the different options) If the number of options are overwhelming, you can visit our friends at Clopay and an expert can guide you through this process.
Step 3b
Once you have your ideal door selected, it’s time to place an order. Ordering should be fairly straightforward – simply schedule for a home delivery or for pickup at the provider’s location. We normally recommend a home delivery due to the size and difficulty to transfer the door. Once you know when you’ll be in possession of your new door, move to item #4.
4. When do you need it installed?
